It is critical that ski patrol and lift mechanics act quickly in an emergency situation, and that they have a rescue plan that takes into account the special factors that can affect the priority of those needing to be evacuated. Additionally, evacuating a ski lift requires the use of specialized equipment and techniques.

Course breakdown

Nouvelle Hauteur’s Ski Lift Evacuation & Rescue course is customized to fit the needs of the ski resort, how they are equipped, and the skill level of the rescue team. Our expert instructors know all of the various evacuation techniques, and can teach to the requirements of our students.

  • Understand best practices for coordinating a large-scale evacuation
