Petzl has just announced the launch of the Petzl Technical Partner (PTP) program, where they are joining forces with top training companies in vertical industries such as rope access and high-angle rescue.
Petzl Technical Institute – Salt Lake City, Utah
The program was designed with the vision of developing a comprehensive network of training companies in the U.S. and Canada, with expertise in vertical environments who integrate Petzl products and solutions into their teaching curriculum. They have developed a website with further information, and a listing of all of their partners. To visit their newly developed site, click here.
The goal for the program is two-fold. First, it enables Petzl to refer their clientele to training providers in their local region who are developing industry best practices for safe use of Petzl products in an industrial application. Second, to have these companies report their findings based on daily in-depth use of Petzl products in order to help them to continue to innovate and provide solutions to those working in vertical environments.
Director of Petzl’s professional division explains, “Petzl is focused on designing and manufacturing the most innovative and highest quality personal protective equipment for working at-height. We do not have the depth of in-field and daily-use expertise of the many training companies that use our products.”
Nouvelle Hauteur is honoured to be included in the PTP program, and are excited to help in the progression of Personal Safety Equipment innovation as well as in further development of best practices in the vertical safety space.
