Working at Heights

Global Wind Organization – BST Refresher Training

The GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR) is intended for workers with a valid GWO BST certificate who wish to obtain a recertification. It is a shortened version of the original, and it is meant to review the key concepts related to safety inside of a wind turbine generator. It is a three-day course that reviews key safety concepts around working at heights, first aid, fire safety and manual handling. It is only intended for those who hold a current and valid GWO BST certificate and a valid WINDA ID. Those who are interested in obtaining their initial GWO certification should take our four-day GWO Basic Safety Training Course. The GWO BST certificate is valid for two years.
