GWO Basic Safety Training:
The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) developed standardized safety training for wind turbine technicians, in response to significant growth of the wind energy sector. These internationally-recognized standards reflect the risks that technicians will face on the job, with over 100,000 GWO-certified technicians worldwide.
Nouvelle Hauteur is a certified GWO training provider, offering GWO – Basic Safety Training in both English and French. The BST safety training contains the following four modules:
1) Wind Turbine Fall Protection and Rescue
2) First Aid
3) Fire Safety
4) Manual Handling
The GWO certification is accepted by some of the wind energy industry’s largest companies such as GE Renewable Energy, Vestas, Nordex, etc.
